OVERVIEW

The Department of Electrical Engineering at NSHM Institute of Engineering & Technology, NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur started its journey in 2010, It offers a comprehensive four-year B.Tech. programme designed to provide a strong foundation in electrical engineering concepts and applications.

The department is recognized for its effective teaching methods, industry-oriented curriculum, and well-qualified faculty, most of whom have M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees.

The B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering covers fundamental areas such as electricity, electric machinery, power systems, industrial automation, control systems, and renewable energy.

The programme integrates core engineering subjects with practical design and analysis, preparing students for roles in sectors like automation, electric vehicles, and power systems.
