HOD Message
The Department of Psychology at NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur, is committed to promoting a scientific understanding of human behavior and mental processes through academic excellence, research, and community engagement. We offer B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology and M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, both designed to provide students with a strong foundation in theory, practical skills, and ethical understanding.
Our programmes focus on experiential learning through classroom teaching, laboratory work, field visits, workshops, and internships. Students are encouraged to explore diverse psychological domains and apply their knowledge in clinical, organizational, and social contexts.
The department regularly organizes seminars, expert lectures, and outreach initiatives such as the Mental Health Awareness Programme featuring poster exhibitions, street plays, and interactive sessions to foster empathy and mental health awareness in society.
