Dr. Naveen Das is the director of the NSHM Business School, Kolkata. Equipped with a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, Dr. Das’s doctoral thesis deals with and research interest lies in the intersection of management practice, theory and the gap therein. Prior to joining NBS, he was associate director at The Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He has also held academic positions like the dean and director at IBS, Hyderabad and Kolkata, after a successful stint in the corporate world, when he served in various functions at Godrej & Boyce, Mumbai and Kolkata.
Dr. Das has a number of papers published in referred journals, cases showcased in global case clearing houses, and edited books to his credit, and is a regular speaker in management forums. Teaching is his passion and he visits some of the best-known business schools in India. His overarching aspiration is to make a difference in the profession of management by bridging the knowing-doing chasm.

Nine years in the corporate sector, Prof. Das has been associated with companies like Godrej-GE Appliances Ltd (Mumbai) and Everonn Education Systems (Chennai).
He has been for the last 13 years in the academic sector associated with renowned Institutes like ICFAI Business School (Hyderabad & Kolkata) and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
