B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) under the aegis of the NSHM Knowledge Campus – Durgapur was established in 2010. The Department, over the years, has grown in several dimensions and provides a magnetic ambience in teaching and learning.
B.Tech. program in Electronics and Communication Engineering provides a solid foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge of Basic Electronics, Solid-State Physics, Radio Engineering, Communication System, Signal System, Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Robotics and many more.
ECE Department has updated 14 laboratories with state-of the art equipments and facilities. Vision of this department is to excel in education and research in Electronics & Communication. Mission of this Department is to educate the students with the state of art technologies to meet the growing challenges of the industry, carry out research through constant interaction with research organizations and industry and equip the students with strong foundations to enable them for continuing education.
The department has 14 full time faculty members, 03 visiting faculty members from Institutions of International repute. The Department has signed MoU with Sizuoka University, Japan for International collaboration.

10+2 passed in Science stream from any recognized board. Qualifying entry requirement – JEE (Main) or WB JEE. Admission to second year of B. Tech program (Lateral Entry) is based on qualifying JELET.
