B.Sc. -Nursing at NSHM Institute for Nursing is specifically designed to give students a distinct edge and enable them to address the healthcare needs of patients.
This is a 4-year degree program that aims at equipping the students with in-depth knowledge of nursing and healthcare. The program enables students to comprehend various aspects of patient care and nursing. It also introduces one to the code of conduct, and ethical and moral standards to acquaint the students with professional responsibilities.
It enables students to know how to apply the concepts of quality and safety development in practice, independently and in collaboration with all other health professionals, by using the necessary knowledge, skills, and technologies.
The program involves classroom study, projects, live training, and assignments to help students get a practical understanding of nursing concepts and learning. During this course, the students will be given hands-on training under the guidance of some of the best nursing professionals at different multispecialty hospitals, government healthcare units, private hospitals, etc.
NSHM Institute for Nursing will also be given extensive pre-placement training and work on the interpersonal training of the students to help them secure placement and commence their professional journey in nursing and patient care.
Hence, post the completion of B.Sc. – Nursing, the students will emerge as competent professionals with optimum knowledge of the technology, a code of conduct, and an acceptance of standards of practice.
B.Sc. – Nursing provides one access to multiple job opportunities in the healthcare and nursing industry. One can also opt for higher education and a Master’s in Nursing to give themselves a distinct edge and broaden their horizons of knowledge.
