Under Graduate Courses

Academic Qualifications : Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination and English as a compulsory subject.

Course Specific Entry Requirements:

Business & Management

BBA, BBA (Supply Chain Management), BBA (Sports Management), BBA (Global Business)
• 10 + 2 passed from any recognized board in India or equivalent with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply.

Computing, Basic & Applied Sciences

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)
• 10 + 2 passed from any board with English and Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science.

B.Sc. in Gaming & Mobile Application Developement
• 10 + 2 passed with individual pass mark in Mathematics/Computer Science as a paper from a recognized board in India or equivalent.

Media, Design & Communication

B.Sc. in Media Science, B.Sc. in Fashion Design & Management, B.Sc. in Multimedia, Animation & Graphics, B.Sc. in Interior Designing
• 10 + 2 passed from any recognized board in India or equivalent with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply.

Hospitality & Tourism

Bachelor of Hotel Management, Bachelor in Travel & Tourism Management, B.Sc. in Culinary Science
• 10 + 2 passed from any recognized board in India or equivalent with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply.

Bachelor in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT)
• Passed 10+2 examination

Allied Health Sciences

B.Pharm.
• The lower age limit is 17 years as on 1.07.2003. There is no upper age limit.

• Passed 10 + 2 examination with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (as per WBJEE rules).

• Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects with individual
pass marks(in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the 3 subjects as stated above in regular class mode.

• Must have passed English in X & XII examination with at least 30% marks.

• Students with Higher Secondary (10 + 2, Science) or equivalent examination and have qualified Joint Entrance Examination (Main) Conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education or the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy & Technological Degree Colleges as recommended by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

• Diploma holders in Pharmacy, qualified in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (WBJELET) are eligible for entry to the 3rd semester (2nd year) of the B.Pharm. Course through counseling by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

BBA (Hospital Management)
• 10 + 2 passed from any recognized board in India or equivalent with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply.

B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology
• Passed 10 + 2 from a recognized board in India or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.Sc. in Behavioral Science & Applied Psychology
• 10 + 2 passed in any stream from a recognized board in India or equivalent.

Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom.)
• 10 + 2 passed from any board with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths).

Engineering & Technology

B.Tech. (CE | ME | EE | CSE | ECE)
• The lower age limit is 17 years as on 1.07.2003. There is no upper age limit.

Diploma (CE | ME)
• Through Counselling Quota: Students are sent by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education according to counselling on the basis of entrance examinations for polytechnic (JEXPO).

• Eligibility: Candidates who have Passed/Appeared 10th standard with English, Physical Science & Mathematics with at least 35% marks (without additional subject) in aggregate without rounding up.

• Through Direct Admission: Candidates who have Passed/Appeared 10th standard with English, Physical Science & Mathematics with at least 35% marks (without additional subject) in aggregate without rounding up and required valid JEXPO Rank (subject to approval of WBSCTE).
Or
• Candidates who have Passed/Appeared 10th standard with English, Physical Science & Mathematics with at least 35% marks (without additional subject) in aggregate without rounding up and 45% marks (without rounding up) in Physical Science & Mathematics taken together (subject to approval of WBSCTE).

Note: NSHM Personality and Aptitude Test(NPAT) is applicable for all the courses except B.Tech., Diploma and B.Pharm.

Age: Applicants must be of 17 years on or before joining the course

Admission Process

• The eligible candidate has to apply to the campus of his/her choice with the application form duly filled up.

• Students appearing for class XII board exam can also apply. In such cases, admission will be provisional till he/she clears the board exam.

• Admission to NSHM Knowledge Campus will be confirmed only after the candidate has cleared the eligibility criteria or qualifying examination of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as WBUT.

Academic QualificationsGraduation with a valid score of MAT/CAT/XAT/WBJEEMAT or any all India level Management Aptitude Test (as applicable). However, candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply.

• Graduate in any field with valid score of MAT/WBJEMAT and with minimum 1 year of job experience.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM E-commerce
• Passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration.
• Valid score of CAT/WBJEMAT/XAT/MAT.

Computing, Basic & Applied Sciences

M.Sc. in Computer Science
• Science Graduate (General or Hons.) with Maths/Computer Science.

M.Sc in Data Science & Analytics
• Engineering or Science Graduate from a recognised university in India or equivalent with Mathematics as a core paper.

M.Sc. in Human Computing & AI, M.Sc. in Information and Cyber Security
• Bachelor in Engineering/Science from a recognised university in India or equivalent.

Media, Design & Communication

M.Sc. in Media Science, M.Sc. in Fashion Management, M.Sc. in Visual Communication, M.Sc. in Digital Films
• Graduate in any stream from a recognised university in India or equivalent.

Hospitality & Tourism

M.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Masters of Tourism & Travel Management (MTTM)
• Graduate in any stream from a recognised university in India or equivalent.

Allied Health Sciences

M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology
• Passed Bachelor in Pharmacy.
• Obtained at least 55% marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
• B.Pharm. with GPAT (preferable) or through PGET conducted by University.

Master of Hospital Administration (MHA)
• Graduate with a valid score of MAT/WBJEMAT.

M.Optom.
• Passed B.Optom from a recognized university in India or equivalent.

Master in Public Health
• Graduate with a valid score of MAT/WBJEMAT.

M.Sc in Clinical Psychology
• Graduate with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University in India or equivalent.

M.Sc. in Dietetics & Nutrition
• B.Sc. in Physics/Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Microbiology/Family and Community Sciences with specialisation in Foods and Nutrition/Public Health Nutrition/Dietetics/Food Science and Quality Control.

B.Sc. in Vocational with specialisation in Food Science and Quality Control/Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Science and Technology.
B.Tech. Food Science and Technology

Engineering & Technology

M.Tech. (ECE)
• Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
• Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
