The diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery is a nursing program tailor-made to train nursing aspirants in midwifery practice.
The diploma course is a 3-year full-time program. After completion, the students will be registered nurses.
The course focuses on the foundation of nursing practice, which is the accumulation of knowledge in the areas of wellness, health promotion, illness, disease management, and care of the dying, and introduces one to vital concepts of nursing and care.
The GNM program prepares the students by imparting them the highest level of knowledge and building their technological skills. The course works on cognitive, technical skills, interpersonal and ethical skills to introduce them to the essentials of nursing and patient care.
The program will help the students to get interactive teaching from experienced faculty members. The Students get access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and avail the opportunity to study and practice with experts and the finest nursing educators.
After completion of the course, the graduated registered nurse could practice nursing in a professional font. The certified nurses will also be competent enough to make decisions in various nursing situations. The students can opt to take the role of the practitioner, supervisor, manager, or teacher in the clinic or public health settings.
