NIMD Launched Its Own Community Radio Station
On December 26, 2013, NSHM Institute of Media and Design (NIMD), which has been nurturing students for seven years, successfully launched its very own community radio station. Available at a frequency of 91.2 Y-FM, it stands for the community, by the community and about the community. NIMD is the first private college in eastern India to embark on the journey of starting its very own broadcasting radio station. 91.2 Y-FM is available to listeners all across the Southern parts of Kolkata and its 39 prime areas within a 10 KM radius.
