Dr. Soumya Swarup Chattopadhyay, Ophthalmologist shared the importance of Ocular Surface.
The students learned details about the Ocular Surface and how to protect it.
He mentioned that an ocular surface is a place rich in robust antimicrobial defenses [lactoferrin, lysozyme, defensins, antimicrobial peptides, immunoglobulin (Ig)A] that inhibit bacterial colonization.
Henceforth, the seminar gave the students vast knowledge about integrative analysis of ocular complications.
