The most awaited and popular youth communication fest, YCOMM 2019, was inaugurated by the children from Child Rights and You (CRY) along with Trina Chakraborti, the Regional Director of East India, and Cecil Antony, Chief Mentor, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata. This year, YCOMM put forth a closet of colors, dreams, desires, ambitions, and aspirations with the theme KERMIS. The event highlighted the ‘circus of human life’ and celebrated the significance of communication in the social and professional lives of the youth.
YCOMM 2019 showcased the music of much-awaited guest performances, DJ KHYATI and SENSEONEWAY, who brought in more than 4000 students from different education institutions across India. The highlight of the YCOMM was a scintillating classical folk performance by MOHUL BAND and the Bollywood Rock performance of RIDDLES-THE BAND. The star cast and crew of “Satyanweshi Byomkesh” graced fest with their presence as well. YCOMM 2019 also had events like Two Minutes to Fame, Debate, Solo Dance, Western Band, Brandkshetra and Western group dance. Having played host to a large number of colleges and universities from across the city and the country, YCOMM 2019 is proud to have had the opportunity to give students a stage to showcase their talents.
