NSHM Knowledge Campus – Durgapur invites you to an exclusive National Seminar organized by Dept. of Travel & Tourism Management, School of Tourism and Hotel Management (STHM) – Durgapur, West Bengal supported by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.

In West Bengal, several monuments are culturally significant. Steeped in history, Bengal exudes the vibrancy of heritage through artistic masonry, inlay work, carving, handicrafts and much more. Over the years these aspects have enamoured and fascinated the tourists alongside our unique cuisine.

On the gracious occasion of World Heritage Day & International Day of Monuments and Sites, this seminar will address current trends and issues in the tourism industry as well as educate tourism and hospitality students about the same. Together we will explore the problems and possibilities of sustainability of tourist destinations.

  • 17th April, 2019: Registration, Inauguration, Keynote speeches, Lunch, Technical Sessions, Panel discussion, Heritage walk, Cultural Evening and followed by dinner.
  • 18th April, 2019: Keynote speeches, Technical Sessions, Panel discussion, Lunch, Presentation competition among the students of various institutions and Valedictory Session.
