Student’s Perspective

SURAJIT BAG
Maple Orgtech (I) Ltd.

From my experience I have learnt that students at NBS have the advantage of developing a cross functional knowledge base. The well designed courses along with the emphasis on case-based interactive learning prepares students to become business leaders of tomorrow. To develop leadership skills and techniques like Lateral Thinking, we had sessions under Peter de Bono, Dr. Tapan Panda (IIM Indore) and others. At NSHM a great emphasis is also given to developing Organizational Behaviour Skills for the students who are gearing up to step into the corporate world. I am happy to say that after graduating from NBS, I joined Maple Orgtech (I) Ltd.

SHUBHO GHOSH

As an ex-student of NSHM Business School I can say it is a management institute with an atmosphere that is extremely conducive to learning. I have gathered enormous knowledge, skills and ideas related to the Industry from my helping faculties who used to share their priceless knowledge with us. I am placed at Nirmal Bang. I feel proud to be a part of that institute which turned me to a man from a boy.

VIDYA VANJANI
Kotak Mahindra Bank

Life at NSHM was truly a learning experience... I still remember the quote in the library which said, "Here knowledge is free, you just have to carry your own container". This is so true at NSHM. The campus gives you all that you need or want from good infrastructure to great faculty members to opportunities to excel and so on. As far as my experience goes it's been the one to remember for a lifetime. I am also happy to share that my NSHM education has helped me bag a lucrative job at Kotak Mahindra Bank.

SANCHARI SAHA

Memories of the happy days spent at NSHM Business School will last a lifetime for me. Classes were extremely enjoyable, the faculty approachable and always ready to help, the campus itself was fantastic and we never lacked any resources whatsoever. The entire experience of studying here prepared me so well for the world outside, that I didn't face any problems in getting a good job at the Videocon Group. Thank you, my alma mater.

GOUTAM ROY
Balmer Lawrie

The knowledge that I received at NSHM Business School can be summed up in two words – Experiential Learning. It was a complete education, which went far beyond the four walls of classrooms. Great interactions and workshops with industry experts, personality development skills, real world strategy planning sessions, Lateral Thinking modules by Peter de Bono, and the list of good things that we experienced is endless. Thanks to my education at NBS, I am now employed in an important position at Balmer Lawrie.

INDRAJIT BASAK

Marketing as a discipline observes the entire business process as consisting of a firmly integrated effort to determine, generate, awaken and gratify customer requirements. Since marketing progresses with time, it is a critical consideration while designing the marketing curriculum. A comprehensive analysis of this ever-evolving marketing world and its incorporation into marketing learning is what guarantees an up-to-date curriculum of the Marketing Area.
