The lush green ambience in the campus, far from maddening crowd, is spread over 2.12 acres, in which are situated two Institutional Blocks ,Canteen & Cafeteria.
Class Rooms are spacious, airy and completely dust-free with comfortable seating arrangement. All class rooms are equipped with Overhead LCD projector and LAN connection .

“Knowledge is free at the Library, just bring your own container”-- It is a belief to facilitate production & dissemination of knowledge, information, insights & intellect in all scientific communities.
For any academic program in pharmacy, the participant is facilitated with the latest reading resources from all over the world. The Central Library includes a wide range of Text books and monographs of different branches of Pharmaceutical Sciences and allied subjects (more than 6250 volumes & 1225 titles). About 30 printed national Journals, 13 international Journals and are subscribed to two International Scientific Data Base namely Science Direct & Bentham Science Pharmacy collection of journals , through which students can access 100s of scientific journals. Students can access other vital academic information, like previous Semester question papers, project reports stored in Library Server through Reading Room PCs.

The Laboratories are developed with state of the art infrastructure with facilities of advanced & sophisticated equipments. The infrastructure of the Laboratory has been so designed to match the facilities at par with the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Analytical Testing Laboratories in the GMP certified Pharmaceutical Companies and Research Labs. The working atmosphere in regular Practical Classes in such Laboratories will enable the students to be well acquainted with the Industrial manufacturing & testing as well as scientific research processes.

Conferences
To close the gap between classroom teaching and real life problems of the profession, NCPT organizes ‘NATCONPH’ , an annual national conference. The institute organizes the conference in January/February every year. It attracts leading speakers and delegate from the industries and academia from all over India. It is a platform where our students.

NATCONPH2010 , the first annual conference of NCPT was organized in January 2010 at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science Auditorium, Jadavpur & NSHM Knowledge Campus. The theme of the conference was ‘ Pharmaceutical & Health Care Management’.
NATCONPH 2011, the second conference of NCPT was organized in February 2011, in collaboration with Division of Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals, Department of Chemical Technology, Calcutta University. The theme of the conference was “Innovations and Opportunities in Pharmaceutical Technology: Industry-Institute Interaction” and Venue -Dr Triguna Sen Memorial Hall; Jadavpur University Campus & NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata.
NATCONPH 2012, the third conference was held during Feb, 2012. This time the theme was “Impact of Pharmaceutical Education & Research in Redefining Healthcare Industry of 21st Century” The venue was -Dr Triguna Sen Memorial Hall; Jadavpur University Campus & NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata.

National pharmacy week
In the month of November, every year NCPT celebrates National Pharmacy Week. The occasion is marked by Seminar, Poster competition, Quiz competition, Debate & Cultural programmes. Our students use the opportunity to organize blood donation camps. Essay Competitions are organized involving school students and prizes are awarded to the winners.
Seminars
NCPT understand the importance of real world experience and eposes its students to these through seminars and symposiums. Throughout the year, Seminars & Workshops are arranged on topics of professional relevance. Leading speakers from the industries and Institutes from all over India are invited to deliver talks.

Language Across the Curriculum
To compete at the national and international level a good pharmacist needs to be proficient in English and have at least some basic computer skill. NCPT offers opportunities for students to improve their English language skills along with the curricular studies.
