Maple Orgtech (I) Ltd.
‘From my experience I have learnt that students at NBS have the advantage of developing a cross functional knowledge base. The well designed courses along with the emphasis on case-based interactive learning prepares students to become business leaders of tomorrow. To develop leadership skills and techniques like Lateral Thinking, we had sessions under Peter de Bono, Dr. Tapan Panda (IIM Indore) and others. At NSHM a great emphasis is also given to developing Organizational Behaviour Skills for the students who are gearing up to step into the corporate world. I am happy to say that after graduating from NBS, I joined Maple Orgtech (I) Ltd.’
‘As an ex-student of NSHM Business School I can say it is a management institute with an atmosphere that is extremely conducive to learning. I have gathered enormous knowledge, skills and ideas related to the Industry from my helping faculties who used to share their priceless knowledge with us. I am placed at Nirmal Bang. I feel proud to be a part of that institute which turned me to a man from a boy.’
Kotak Mahindra Bank
‘Life at NSHM was truly a learning experience... I still remember the quote in the library which said, “Here knowledge is free, you just have to carry your own container”. This is so true at NSHM. The campus gives you all that you need or want from good infrastructure to great faculty members to opportunities to excel and so on. As far as my experience goes it’s been the one to remember for a lifetime. I am also happy to share that my NSHM education has helped me bag a lucrative job at Kotak Mahindra Bank’.
‘Memories of the happy days spent at NSHM Business School will last a lifetime for me. Classes were extremely enjoyable, the faculty approachable and always ready to help, the campus itself was fantastic and we never lacked any resources whatsoever. The entire experience of studying here prepared me so well for the world outside, that I didn’t face any problems in getting a good job at the Videocon Group. Thank you, my alma mater.’
‘The knowledge that I received at NSHM Business School can be summed up in two words – Experiential Learning. It was a complete education, which went far beyond the four walls of classrooms. Great interactions and workshops with industry experts, personality development skills, real world strategy planning sessions, Lateral Thinking modules by Peter de Bono, and the list of good things that we experienced is endless. Thanks to my education at NBS, I am now employed in an important position at Balmer Lawrie.’
‘I learnt a great deal during my MBA course at NSHM Business School. Classes were productive, campus life was vibrant and I participated in a lot of events in our annual fest which we all looked forward to. I can assure all prospective students that you will have the time of your lives here. The knowledge I gained here ensured that I got a job at Simplex, Qatar. All the best to NSHM and the present students.’

Centre for Executive Development
In the last two decades, corporate India has seen intense competitive pressure because of globalization and technological changes. This has resulted in a need to relook at the management processes, education and training. Many organizations have shifted their training objectives away from building an executive's individual skills towards developing an aligned organization; one in which each member of the management team is energized by a deep understanding of the corporate ambition and by a recognition of her or his own leadership role in advancing the common agenda.
Progressive education must stretch the realms of teaching beyond the four walls of classrooms. At NSHM, we constantly try to do that and give our students a different perspective to lessons. Our teaching methods are unconventional, effective and endorsed by some of the best academicians and industry faces alike.
Mentor Mentee Programme
The Mentor Mentee programme is part of our focus on real life experiential learning. Our students will have an external mentor (an entrepreneur or a senior manager of a company) who will groom our students, and an internal mentor (one of our own professors) who will have a small batch of students under him and spend time to prepare the students for the rigours of the industry. The objective of the Mentor Mentee programme is to prepare our students for the industry and to supplement their normal curriculum through industry internships, personal attention and one-to-one training. With Case studies and real life situational training, our students are made to experience their future in the present, at NSHM.
NSHM strongly believes that learning is incomplete without practical exposure. It is with this view that NSHM conducts industry visits to top-notch companies and gives students a good glimpse of their future.
Business Etiquette & Communication Skills
Our students are taught social guidelines and business manners in order to face business situations when dealing with others or chalking up important deals.
Conflict & Stress Management
Conflict Management teaches our students various ways to handle grievances - standing up for what they consider to be right and against what they consider to be wrong. Stress Management is becoming increasingly important in today’s world, especially for management students. Our students are taken through various sessions in stress management which helps them cope with the rigours of academics.
Modules on negotiation techniques prepare students for cracking and negotiating on the best deals as they join the corporate world.
Decision Making & Time Management
At NSHM the art of decision making is given importance wherein a student is taught to be practical so that he/she makes a judgement after careful analysis and consideration. Time Management is also seen as an important tool that increases efficiency and productivity.
