Introduction:   

The Bachelor of Media Science is a three-year degree program, which allows you to train in both mainstream and allied Media –Print, Online, Television and Radio journalism besides Marketing Communication, Communication Design and Cinema. Students study the social, political and economic role of Media. They develop critical skills, participate in professionally oriented research, writing, editing and production skills and learn about the role of Media in society besides Media laws and Ethics.

To follow it up, we offer Post-Graduate courses with specialization in Journalism, Marketing Communication, Events & Dramatics, Communication Design and Entertainment Media.

Course Objectives:

The Bachelor of Media Science course trains students in areas like Mass Communication, Computers, Video shooting, Non-linear Editing & Production techniques, Print, Television & Radio Journalism & Production, Press Photography, Film & Stage Production and Direction besides Art and Music appreciation. They also acquire skills in Marketing, Branding, Advertising, Public Relations & Promotions. Event Management and Campaign Strategy also are important learning deliverables.

The course is industry-oriented and student participatory. Theory in classrooms and Practical in the hi-tech in-house labs go hand in hand. Regular Workshops, symposia and interactions with Industry experts are encouraged.
