It is also one of the most dynamic industries with rapid changes. To maintain a competitive edge, information technology industry must continue to make creative scientific and technological advances as well as produce high quality products. There is a growing demand for intelligent and dynamic work force with professional training.

These IT advances have enormous repercussions on various sectors like business, education, entertainment, government, healthcare, transportation, and many more. They are giving birth to new vistas of opportunities like off-shoring, BPO, KPO, etc. Thus, Information Technology has become an integral part of infrastructure.

With the rapid developments at break-neck speed taking place in IT, it is imperative that today's businesses adopt and implement latest technologies and right people.

IT professionals find themselves in a variety of environments in academia, research, industry, government, private and business organizations - analyzing problems for solutions, formulating and testing, using advanced communications or multimedia equipment, or working in teams for product development. The BCA Program is designed for students who are interested in pursuing rewarding careers in the field of IT. The program encompasses foundational courses, latest tools and techniques and integrative as well as elective courses, with an optimal blend of theory and practice. The BCA program provides a good grounding in basic subjects. An in-depth understanding of the basic subjects will go a long way in facilitating the students to pursue the relevant advanced programs after graduation.
