The state-of-the-art infrastructure provides the perfect ambience
for learning at NSHM. Classroom teachings partnered with adequate
practical training makes the students industry ready. The institute
boasts of two kitchens, a bakery ,a front office lobby ,a guest room
–all fully equipped to impart practical training to the students.
Front office Training Area is designed like the reception and atrium
type lobby area of a star category hotel with computers logged on to
real-time program. Students get a real-time experience in Front
Office Management in accordance with international curriculum. The
courseware covers areas such as reservation & registration,
Cashiering, Night Audit and Floor Management.
Accommodation Operation Management : The Institute’s
state-of-the-art Housekeeping Laboratory and the Maharaja Suite have
been designed to simulate the modern luxury hotels. Students are
trained to reproduce the same look everyday which calls for patience
and eye for detail. The course also includes hands on training in
Room Management & Laundry operations.
Automation : A CST based state-of-the-art Property
Information System Fidelio Version 7.13 has been installed over a
LAN ,involving the units of Front Office , Accommodation, Food
&Beverage Service and Food Production.
Food and Beverage Service : Rendezvous –A 40 covers
superlative grandeur , fully equipped &air conditioned laboratory
,having a restaurant & bar which has the perfect 5star ambience with
a Live Band . Uniquely designed for nurturing young aspirants being
recognized as benchmarks for international quality. Rendezvous is
blazing a trail as the first restaurant imparting the latest
training methodologies like ‘action maze’ ,role-play and
audio-visual to name a few. The training system is built on a high
–tech expertise and cradled between academics & industry. Infact
‘Rendezvous’ has emerged as an aspirational brand that draws the
best minds towards the students to hone their skills in Guest
Handling ,F&B Product and Service Development, MIS and Bar Operation
.’Rendezvous’ trains in tune with the Vedic Philosophy of Atithi
Deva Bhava that literally means ‘The Guest is God’.
Food Production: The Institute boasts of a Basic Training
Kitchen ,Advanced Training kitchen ,Bakery, Cold Kitchen and
Butchery .30 students in a batch are trained during each practical
session and the emphasis is on one-to-one guidance. The respective
Laboratories give the students that extra edge to become master
Chefs. The Programme helps student to master the nuances of basic
culinary science with option to master specialty cuisine and
confectionery design with the emphasis on food costing ,safety and
preservation.

Executive Classroom : The Executive classroom (ECR) provides
an ideal study environment with state-of-the-art presentation and
communication facilities. It's purpose is to provide a world-class
facility for student-faculty interactions. It is in keeping in pace
with NSHM’s vision of becoming an institution of excellence through
innovation and quality. In the increasingly Globalized environment
of today ,it is imperative that an international-quality environment
is created to enable proper dissemination of knowledge. Top Quality
Executive Development Programmes demand top quality facilities. The
ECR is meant to do just that. The ECR environment has inherent
flexibility to change and bring in new technologies and adapt to
changing requirements as and when required , not only now but also
in the future. The two way Video Conferencing facility at the ECR
connects us to the world and enables creation of a virtual
classroom.
Mind room
The spacious classrooms are well equipped with learning tools like
LCD Projector, LAN Connections and Green Boards.
The name Mind Room is not without reason. Our concept of a classroom
breaks away from the traditional concept and tries to bring about
the following:

Seminar Hall :
Industry experts and international faculties often come to share
their thoughts with students of NSHM. Seminars and presentations on
Corporate and social issues are frequently organized at the spacious
Seminar Hall of NSHM Knowledge Campus.
Library :
The NSHM Library at both its campuses holds a myriad collection of
printed as well electronic resources that include books , journals ,
, databases , audio-visuals , CDs/DVDs , e-books , on-line journals
, reports , case studies , conference proceedings training manuals ,
etc.
Probably the largest among private (non-engineering )colleges , the
library stores over 20 ,000 books and more than 60 international and
national journals. The introduction of Digital Library facility has
made study materials , accessible to students round the clock. With
over 50 networked workstations at their disposal , students can make
the best utilization of the e-library.
Language and Personality Development Lab :
Developed in association with CACM ,STEP,IIT KGP this unique
learning facility helps students hone their communication
competencies. Set up in an amphitheatre format, the Lab is well
equipped with modern communication gadgets.

techniques ◊Conducting group Discussions , Role Play, Leadership
