PhD in Management from Netaji Subhas Open University, MBA with specialization in HR from IISWBM, possessing 21 years of rich experience in the labour intensive jute industry, with postings in the jute factories as well as the Corporate HQ from where she resigned as Manage(Personnel) after 21 years of service to pursue a career in academics. She has 16 years of experience in academics, first at ICFAI Business School, Kolkata and then at NSHM, Kolkata. She had been associated with the education and training services in various industries such as Air India, IBP Ltd, Nicco Telelinks, Eastern Spinning Mills, Honeywell Automation, IEEMA (Indian Electricals and Electronics Manufacturers Association, Central Board of Workers’ Education. Dr Chakraberty is an honorary member of PhD committee of management department of M.S. University. She has 3 articles published in international journals, 12 publications in national journals and 8 articles in books.
