Apart from professional accountability, he is undertaking a PhD in Hospitality management from Assam Down Town University, Assam, and published a few research papers on culinary. Masters in tourism management from IGNOU, Diploma in hotel management from AICMS, food technology from Jadavpur University, possessing 25 years of experience in the teaching & hotel industry. After passing out from catering college he joined India Tourism Development Corporation, Ashok hotel, Kolkata & acquired knowledge about the hospitality industry. After spending a few years in the hotel industry he joined a food factory called kookies-jar as a chef & letter on shift to the education sector.

Academic experience: He has been associated with the educational institution last 20 years.

Achievement: In the year of 2006 he was engaged with an international hotel project called “ASIAN WOK” in Almaty, Kazakhstan & in the year of 2009, he was privileged to set up a new hotel management college in Tripura called “ARKA NEER” & both are running with flying colors. Featured in T.V cooking shows & published many food reports & articles in Telegraph paper as a food critic. He was Judge of a famous culinary television show of our country “Master Chef Competition” by star T.V channel.
