World Sight Day Celebrations

Durgapur Campus

Department of Clinical Optometry, Durgapur, Celebrated World Sight Day on 8th October 2015 by organising a Free Eye Screening Program in the In-Campus Clinic. The program included Free Medicine and Spectacle distribution to the needy people.
It was followed by an Eye Health Awareness Program where the Guest Speakers were Dr. Partha Mandal and Dr. Soma Mondal

Kolkata Campus

Department of Optometry at NSHM College of Management & Technology Kolkata in collaboration with Optometry Council of India and Essilor, celebrated World Sight Day on 8th October by organizing an eye screening camp for the children of Janakalyan Siksha Mandir High School,Kolkata. 200 School children were screened on the day and those in need of vision correction were promised free spectacles
