| Students will receive all the help that they require from the student counsellor. The transition to life on campus is not always easy. The counsellor and the faculty will do their best to ensure that the transition is as comfortable as possible. The main duty of the counsellor is to support, develop and help the students to help themselves. |

| Transport Facilities |
| NSHM has dedicated coaches to carry students to the campus. This facility can be availed of both by the hostelite as well as day scholar students. Separate buses for girl students and faculties are also available. Shuttle bus facility from the nearest bus route to the campus for guardians and students is another feature. |

| Medical Facilities |
| The College has round-the-clock medical support, medical clinics, ambulance facilities. The college also has got tie-ups with good hospitals to handle emergency cases. |

| Student Educational Loan Facility |
| As per RBI guidelines banks can extend up to Rs 7.5 lakhs for studies within the country and up to Rs 15 lakhs for studies abroad. Educational loan facility can be made available at reasonable rates of interest to students of NSHM through Syndicate Bank, Punjab National Bank and ICICI Bank to name a few. |

| A sports field with facilities for football, basketball, cricket and badminton is available within the campus. Table tennis, carom and chess etc are also available within the main building. |
