| SOUMEN CHATTERJEE, Assistant Professor & Head of Department : |
Prof. Soumen Chatterjee is a technical graduate from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He has completed his Master in Business Administration from Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad .
He has around 09 years of Industry experience being associated with premium brand of companies like Merind Limited, TATA Pharma, Zenith Computers Ltd. He has around 05 years of teaching experience.
Prof.Chatterjee has participated in many national & international conferences in the areas of General Management. He has also participated in National seminars and Workshops in similar domain and has handled a series of projects awarded by the Government of West Bengal. His area of interest and participation also extends to Faculty Developmet Programme’s (FDP).
He has also published many articles and is currently carrying out extensive research work on the Tourism sector in India with special emphasis on Jharkhand. |
| BIDYUT KR SARKAR, Sr.Lecturer : |
Prof. Sarkar has done his MBA(HR&Mktg.) from NIHRD, Madras, MS(Psychotherapy and Counselling) from IPMS, Mumbai, PGDCA from DOEACC, Delhi ,PGDI(Indology) from Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata and BSc(Physics Hons.) from St.Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He is in the process of submission of PhD Thesis from Netaji Subhas Open University, Kolkata and undergoing MCA from DOEACC. He is a UGC-NET and AIMA-TEM qualified professional.
He has 10 years of teaching experience in reputed institutions like IIMS, Kolkata ,Newport University, USA, Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Viswavidyala, Bhopal etc. He has rich industry experience as well.
Prof Sarkar has research experience in Industry and has published research papers in reputed national and international journals like Delhi Business Review, RMIC Bulletin etc. He has attended number national and international conferences and has presented number of research papers.
Prof Sarkar is a prolific management consultant and several national and international companies has retained him as Consultant like SkyBoat-Lomapallo of Finland etc.
Prof Sarkar is a professional member of number of renowned organizations like AIMA, Delhi, AHRD, Ahmedabad, ACP, Chennai etc.
Prof Sarkar has been adjudged an eminent national speaker at the 9th international conference, DSPSR, Delhi .He has organized number of training sessions, workshops, seminars and conferences. He also takes keen interest in social work and music. |
| DR. SEBABRATA CHATTERJEE, Senior Lecturer : |
Dr. Sebabrata Chatterjee has done Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor of Education from the University of Burdwan. He has done Master of Business Administration in Marketing from L. N. Mishra College of Business Management. He has also done doctorate from the University Of Calcutta.
He is a national scholar and has been awarded scholarship for his studies on continuing basis till the highest level.
Dr. Chatterjee is having 14 years of industrial experience in companies like Apple Systems Ltd., Polar Industries, Bengal Tools Ltd. and more than 1 year of teaching experience in NSHM ACADEMY, Durgapur.
He has carried out extensive research in the field of Consumer Behaviour. His area of interest is in Rural Marketing and Consumer Buying Behaviour. |
| PRAKASH BHATTACHARYA, Assistant Professor : |
Prof. Prakash Bhattacharya (b1969) is a B.E. (Mechanical) from REC Durgapur and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from ICFAI. He has been associated with many reputed organizations like, Larsen & Toubro Ltd., ICFAI, etc. Owing to his association with ICFAI, he worked for the preparation of the courseware of Certified Risk and Insurance Managers, an insurance course offered by the Institute of Certified Risk and Insurance Managers, an ICFAI affiliate.
He has carried out extensive research works about the pension sector reforms in India and its implications. He has also published many articles and presented many research papers in national and international conferences held in India as well as USA in relation to the pension sector in India and its reforms requirements. |
| JOYDEB BHATTACHARYYA, Lecturer : |
| Joydeb Bhattacharyya did his masters in Economics in the year 1989 from Calcutta University with specialization in Applied Statistics and Econometrics. Thereafter, he remained associated to Jadavpur University as a research fellow. He worked as a equity-research analyst in a research organization under Calcutta Stock Exchange during 1990 – 1995. Thereafter, he worked as a faculty member to different well known professional and academic institutions like Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, St. Lawrence High School – Kolkata, to name a few. He also remained an examiner of ICAI. He has a keen interest in Applied Statistics. |

| ANITA NANDI BARMAN, Faculty (Finance) : |
Mrs Anita Nandi Barman has done Masters in Business Administration ( MBA) from NIT Durgapur,deemed university in the year 2006 with dual specialization in Finance and Marketing.Before MBA she has done B.com with Accountancy Hons from Burdwan University in the year 2004.She has 14 months of industry experience in ICICI BANK in the Personal Loan Division and has done summer training in Karvy Consultancy Limited in Mutual Fund Segment. She has started his full time teaching experience with NSHM ,Durgapur in BBA department. Before that,she was attached with IIAM, Durgapur as a part-time faculty.
She has carried out extensive Project work in Mutual Fund and in Inventory management topics. She has also participated in Natianal Conferences and Faculty Development Programmes in the areas of financial market. Her area of interest is Mutual fund, Merger and Acquisition in Banking Sector and Inventory Management. |
| ARUN UPADHYAY, Lecturer : |
He has done M.com from Vinoba Bhave University and also completed ICWA from Kolkata, in single attempt. He has appeared for M.phil on Micro-finance from Periyar University, Salem this year. He has three years of industry experience and eight years of teaching experience altogether.
He has carried out his research work on the field of Micro-finance and self help group for pursuing M.phil. Also participated in a conference on Treasury management and Life Skill management conducted by ICWAI. |
| BIPASHA MRIDHA GHOSH, Lecturer : |
MS. Bipasha Mridha Ghosh has done Master of Environmental Science from Kalyani University &PG diploma in HR. MS. Ghosh has more than 4 years of teaching experience. Cleared UGC NET- in 2003 LS in Environmental Science, Cleared ICAR NET- in 2004 LS in Environmental Science, Cleared GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering).
She has carried out extensive research in the field of POLLUTION MANAGEMENT. MS. Ghosh has to her credit, several national publications in reputed Indian journals. She has also participated in national & international conferences in the areas of Environment management. Her area of interest is environment and energy management, solid-waste management, ecotourism, human ergonomics and TQM. |

Mr.Suvadip Chakraborty has done Master of Philosophy (Commerce) & M. Com from Annamalai University. He is having more than 3 years of teaching experience with various reputed organizations like ICFAI National College-ICFAI University & NSHM Academy.
Mr. Suvadip Chakraborty has done research in the field of CRM in Banking sector and has to his credit, an article titled “KPO- Is India Ready for the Next Revolution?” accepted for publication in HRM Review, ICFAI University Press. His area of interest is Finance, Banking & Accounting. |

| Gouri Sankar De has done M.Com from Kalyani University, B. Ed from Calcutta University. Prof. De has 20 years of academic experience in MAMC Boys’ High School as Sr.Teacher and 1 year experience in DAV Model School,Durgapur, 2 years in Ranibandh High School,Bankura and 2 years in AIMS Hotel Management College,Durgapur . Along with this Prof. De was also associated with IGNOU through Womens’ College, Durgapur for 2 years. |
| Jayatee Chakraborty, Senior Lecturer : |
Ms. Chakraborty has done her Post Graduation in English from Burdwan University. She has done her B.Ed from Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sangsthan; New Delhi. She has completed her GNIIT from NIIT, Durgapur. She has done a trainer’s course from British Council, Kolkata for BEC (Business English Certification) course. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in “Marriage and Womanhood in the Contemporary Indian English Novel by Women – A Feminist Approach”, from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Open University. She has also attended National Seminars in the areas of Literature and its impact on History and Sociology. Presently she is working on a paper in the area of Importance of Literature in the Field of Management Studies.
Ms. Chakraborty in her working exposure of 6 years, has worked as a subject teacher of English in the Secondary level of D.A.V Model School, Durgapur for 1 year .After that she worked as a Lecturer in the Dept. of Business Communication for all the Graduation Level Management Courses in WBUT at Durgapur Society of Management Science (DSMS); Durgapur, for 4 years. Presently she is working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of NSHM Centre of Personality Development in NSHM Academy; Durgapur, for the last 1 year.
Ms.Chakraborty has got a lot of interest in the creative arts like music, painting and culinary skills. Along with her main stream career she has done her B.Muse in Indian Classical (Vocal) from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad under Rabindra Bharati University; Kolkata. She has also completed her M.Muse in Nazrul Geeti (Vocal) from Chandigarh University; Chandigarh. |
| Atreyee Chandra, Sr. Lecturer and Sr. Student Counsellor : |
Ms. Atreyee Chandra has done Masters in Applied Psychology from University of Calcutta & M.Phil.in Medical and Social Psychology from Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. Ms. Atreyee has 8 years of experience as a Psychologist. She worked as a Clinical Psychologist in Tata Motors Hospital, Jamshedpur for 3 yrs. She has also worked as a Counsellor with CINI ASHA, a NGO in Kolkata rendering service to street children.
She has carried out many researches in the field of Psychology and was a research scholar with Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. Ms Atreyee has to her credit, several national publications in reputed Indian journals. She has also participated in national & international conferences in the areas of Clinical Psychology. Her area of interest is Clinical Psychology, Cognitive behavior therapy in various medical and neuropsychiatric disorders, child psychology, student mental heath, stress management and disaster mental health. |
| Sriparna Chatterjee, Senior Faculty : |
Sriparna Chatterjee has done Maters in Mass Communication and Videography, P.G. Diploma in Public Realtions and pursuing Masters in English language Teaching (ELT). Sriparna has 5 months of industry experience in Compare Infobase Ltd. She has been teaching in NSHM Knowledge Campus for 1year 8 months. Besides academics she has completed Business English Certificate (BEC) 1 & 2, Cambridge University, completed a course on Videography from the Department of Youth Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, Moulali Yuva Kendra and completed a short term course on News Reading and Anchoring from NITS Film & Fashion School.
She has Attended 1- day training on effective use of ISIL lab for language and communication skill development at STEP, IIT-KGP Training centre, attended the Short Term Course on Soft Skills, Group Discussion & Personal Interview offered by IIT, Kharagpur and participated in Faculty Development Programme on self Development organized by NSHM College of Management & Technology, Durgapur.
She has also undertakes assignments in the college like looking after and editing monthly wall magazine at college, incharge of the college magazine and conceived Angrezi Adda for the communication skill development of the students. |
| Miss Sreedebika Nath, Faculty : |
Miss Sreedebika Nath has done her Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism from Visva-Bharati and graduation in English from Bardhaman University. Miss Nath has an experience of 1 year in a local media channel named Express News as a script writer and six months teaching experience as a part-time lecturer of English Language in an educational Institute named ABS Academy. Besides she has done Diploma in DTP and is pursuing Masters in English from Netaji Subhash Open University.
Her dissertation was on the subject named “Advertisements and its effect on children”. Apart from academic qualifications her area of interest is making documentaries and has shooted for many documentaries. |
