Curriculum

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management lasts six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer project in between. The first year students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Quantitative methods, Operations and Behavioural Sciences through the “Core Courses”. These lay the foundation for all the functional areas of management to help develop problem solving skills. In the second year, students specialize in functional area of their interest.

Specialization Finance

The Finance Area in the School of Business is unique in its own way. Specialization Media

The study of Media Management is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach. It is designed to impart technical knowledge, scientific fundamentals and methods which are understood as application-oriented prerequisites of the media industry. The need of the hour is professionals with more in-depth knowledge of Journalism, Advertising, Animation, Public Relation, Event Management, TV Production/Direction, as today the media industry often converges and works very closely. Media experts with thorough industry knowledge are recruited not only by media but other industries like manufacturing, public administration and other institutions. The “close-to-the-market” infrastructure and a great number of visiting lecturers coming from the media industry will make it possible for the students to leave the course as a media expert equipped with a sound academic education. Likewise, they would be capable of working in a team and would be success-driven.
